Samantha first ventured into the music arena through a songwriting competition organized by the National University of Singapore. Her first runner-up achievement for best melody and lyrics in this competition spurred her interest in music.

She has since performed at various locations island-wide including popular night spots like Wala Wala, Chinaone and the Esplanade, and her pop-jazz style is also a favourite with weddings and corporate events.

Besides her passion for performing, Samantha is also a published songwriter who has written songs for regional artistes like Kelly Chen, Jacky Cheung and Cilla Kung.
